The Bioethicus Institute together with the University of Veterinary Science (FCV) from Venezuela will hold an international veterinary acupuncture course.

The aim of the course is to promote a high quality level of instruction on holistic veterinary medicine, mainly on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture, conscious that this a new field and should be initiated and developed in a high quality level of education in Venezuela.

Joining forces, Bioethicus Institute from Brazil, the University of Veterinary Science (FCV) from Maracay – Aragua – Venezuela and their Post Graduation coordination have programmed a course that will be the first Course on Veterinary Acupuncture in Venezuela that is an IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) Approved Course.

The course will be divided into 5 modules, with 3-4 days, accounting about 150hs of theoretical and practical classes.

After completing the full program the student will be able to take an exam that is theoretical and practical on large and small animals for IVAS Certification.

At the sequence, an advanced course of 40hs will be offer as an IVAS continuing Education.

El Instituto Bioethicus junto con la Universidad de Ciencias Veterinarias (FCV) de Venezuela realizará un curso internacional de acupuntura veterinaria.

El objetivo del curso es promover un alto nivel de calidad de la enseñanza en la medicina veterinaria holística, sobre todo en la acupuntura veterinaria tradicional china, consciente de que este un campo nuevo y debe ser iniciado y desarrollado en un alto nivel de calidad de la educación en Venezuela.

Uniendo fuerzas, Bioethicus Instituto de Brasil, la Universidad de Ciencias Veterinarias (FCV) de Maracay – Aragua – Venezuela y su cargo la coordinación de graduados ha programado un curso que será el primer Curso de Acupuntura Veterinaria en Venezuela que es un IVAS Acupuntura (Veterinario Internacional Sociedad) Curso Aprobado.

The objectives of the basic Veterinary Acupuncture Course are:

* To prepare and teach the veterinary to use correctly and successfully the Acupuncture and the Chinese Medicine in their day-by-day practice.

* Preparar al estudiante a entender y disfrutar de cursos avanzados sobre la acupuntura veterinaria y otras modalidades de medicina complementaria.

* Dar conocimiento de la neurofisiología de acupuntura y la investigación.

* Proporcionar al alumno la capacidad de diagnosticar y tratar con el  uso de la medicina tradicional china veterinaria.

Por último, el objetivo principal es proporcionar habilidades  al  veterinario para utilizar las herramientas principales en la medicina, las agujas y el corazón.

* Be a graduated veterinary.
* 100% of frequency at the course.
* 70% or more on theoretical and practical exam on small and large animals.
* Submission of a case report;
* Do a 40hs of practice on acupuncture with a CVA by IVAS or be present at a advanced practical course of IVAS Continuing Education.
